A Principal of HOLT Architects, has nearly 30 years of bringing a collaborative, creative, and visual design process to all his projects. Steve has led many multidisciplinary design teams through complex and fast-track renovation and new higher education, community, and housing development projects. Steve helps his teams create thoughtful & leading-edge solutions that accentuate each building’s unique identity, enhance its function, develop the right aesthetic that ultimately offers its users inspiration.
Bear Smith
Bear is an enthusiastic and driven Project Manager with more than eight years of experience leading a diverse range of projects across New York State, including Historic Preservation, Residential, Hospitality, Pharmaceutical, and Automotive Dealerships. His combined expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and hand sketching allows him to quickly develop and communicate design ideas, guiding projects seamlessly from early concepts through construction documentation and execution.
Caterina McFadden
An architectural designer at HOLT Architects. In addition to managing a sugar bush in East Hill, Ithaca, she has a passion for good designs that are thoughtful and creatively respond to the needs of the projects, while considering design sustainably and inclusively.
